Security deposit will be refunded upon inspection of the house and returned less damages to the house. 

Allow me to introduce myself – my name is Cassi. I’m a Speech-language Pathologist, and Dauphin Island is my favorite place to get off the grid and recharge. Making sure my guests have the best stay at Maison du Soleil is very important to me!

Past guests have mentioned how they love being so close to the pool, tennis court, and to the brand new boardwalk that leads to the beautiful beach. 

The house address is 628 Hernando Place, Dauphin Island, AL 36528, United States. We are in a gated community. The gate code to enter is #8861. If you need directions, please inquire, and I will send them separately.

Please be aware of the beach warning flags, especially those that indicate when RIP tides are present. Please heed the warnings for safety.

Self check-in time is after 4:00 PM or later. You can find the rental keys in my lockbox You will receive a text with a code to the key locker 24 hours ahead of your arrival. You can find the Igloo key locker on the column outside of the front door of the downstairs suite.

Touch the center keypad to “wake up” the lock. The keypad will light up.

Enter the code by pressing the corresponding numbers and then press the unlock button.

The key locker will beep to indicate it is unlocked. Pull the door open. Remove the house key and close the door. Please leave the spare key for emergencies. Lock will begin beeping after 30 seconds to remind you to close the door.

Please return the key to the key locker once you have checked out by following the above directions.

After you have checked out, please place the keys back in the lockbox.

Check-out time is at 10:00 AM. Please ensure you check out by the specified time, as the cleaning team will arrive shortly after. Thank you for staying!

Please complete the following at checkout:

1. Place dirty towels/sheets in the laundry room and start a load with the detergent provided.
2. Do not remove mattress covers or duvets.
3. Put dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start with the detergent provided.
4. Empty bins and take the trash to the curb.
5. Turn off all of the lights and set AC to 74.
6. Please make sure all doors and windows are locked.
7. Please return the key to the lockbox and send us a text that you've checked out.

Please take note of the house rules:
Minimum age 25 years old to book

Maximum day/overnight guests not to exceed 12

All vehicles must be parked under the carport or in the driveway

No boats/trailers in the driveway. It must fit under the carport

Pool closes at 10 PM. No glass in pool area

Please do not hang beach towel or clothing from the balconies

Please rinse sand off of you and items before entering the house

Please use our beautiful new boardwalk to enter the beach and not cut through other owner's property

Please do not ride bikes or golf cart on the boardwalk

When grill is in use they it must be monitored at all times. Only grill on concrete. Absolutely no grilling on upstairs deck.

We love the beach and our neighbors please respect them and clean up trash and avoid loud music/noise after 10 pm

The Wi-Fi network name is Micro-Comm 628 and the password is 2514761000.

You’re welcome to make use of all the appliances on the property. Here are the instructions:

Televisions:
Televisions are equipped with an Amazon Firestick
The home is subscribed to Youtube TV which includes local channels. Please note that the only television with parental restrictions is in the bunk room (PG-13). All other televisions have access to full Youtube TV content.

Each Firestick remote will control the associated television:
For Youtube TV (including local channels) – use arrows on the remote to get to “live” button on the screen and push enter

Feel free to access your streaming apps and services available:
You will need your username and password for subscriptions (i.e., Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, etc.)

Please delete your account information prior to check out

Trash:
Trash pick up is twice a week.
EARLY Wednesday and Saturday (Usually around 6 am)
Please roll bins to the end of the driveway
Please return bins under the carport after emptied

Recyling: Please find community recycling across the street behind the white fence (in front of the tennis court). You can recycle paper, boxes, aluminum cans, plastic and glass.

Kitchen:
We have provided everything you will need for basic cooking including a mixer, blender, panini maker, crockpot, can opener, bottle opener, Keurig, coffee pot, and cooking utensils. There is a booster seat in the pantry for a kiddo and child safety locks under the sink where basic cleaning items can be found. A vacuum is provided in the laundry room.

Extras:
If you need extra seating there is a table and four chairs located in the second bedroom closet
Tennis rackets can be found in the master closet (please bring tennis balls)
Beach toys are located under the stairs (outdoor shower area). Please rinse off and rehang items
Extra toys/puzzles/books are located in the bunk room closet
A coffee bar and small library are located in the kitchen.
Please feel free to enjoy all of these amenities.

Grilling:
There is a grill provided outside of the suite under the carport
Keep grill and flames away from home structure
BBQ grilling utensils are located in the downstairs suite closet
Please clean the grill prior to check-out
Absolutely no grilling on top deck

Hi! Let me introduce myself. My name is Cassi. I live in Austin, Texas, and I am a speech-language pathologist. My husband and I are avid travelers and enjoy skiing, boating, and being by the beach. We are so excited for you to stay with us at Maison du Soleil! 
 
We happened upon this incredible island by chance and fell in love with it. Dauphin Island is the ideal place to get off the grid and recharge. Our spacious house provides the perfect place to comfortably gather with family and friends. We hope you will enjoy hanging out on the large deck, feeling the ocean breeze, and listening to the waves. The stress of daily life fades away as you take the three-minute walk to the pristine and beautiful Hernando Beach and dip your toes in the sugar-white sand. At night, the stars twinkle so brightly you can almost hear them. 
 
Maison du Soleil offers two living spaces including a roomy main house upstairs and a separate large downstairs suite. The accommodations make it convenient for multi-families or multi-generations vacationing to enjoy being together and also allow for privacy at the same time. 
 
The upstairs deck has two outdoor living spaces to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine with a large or small group. The tennis court is within view from the deck to watch friends and family while they play. If you like fresh seafood, this is the place for you! Enjoy one of the local seafood restaurants or go to the fresh seafood market and make a great meal in the open kitchen! 
 
An outdoor shower and beach toys are provided for you to fully enjoy your day on the beach. Make sure to grab a cup of coffee or tea and a book before you go from the coffee bar in the kitchen! 
 
At Maison du Soleil you can chill on the deck, play tennis, take a dip at the pool, or take a long relaxing walk on the beach where dolphin sightings are common. Enjoy this uniquely fun house for your next getaway!
